The various basic movements and steps in bellydance were orginally explained on the excellent "Bellydance with Botticelli" website based in Denmark. As the site sadly no longer exists, I'm hosting the content on my site, so as to preserve the excellent content designed by the original dancer, as it would be a real loss if it disappeared from the web completely.
The various steps are explained and illustrated by drawings. At the bottom of the pages there are amazing animations to show what the movements look like.
