BHR1287 has been broadcasting to Basildon Hospital for over 30 years and is staffed entirely by volunteers.

BHR1287 is especially for the patients, staff and visitors and can be heard on 1287AM (1287 MW) on a normal radio or on the Tele-Call bedside entertainment unit on TV channel 17.

To request a song, a favourite piece of music or to make a dedication call BHR1287 on 01268 282828 or extension 3940 from an internal telephone.

There are Request Shows every day of the week - and we don't forget the staff who have their own special programme every Friday afternoon between 2 and 5pm.
